Both entities act under a data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28.3 of the GDPR, formalized on 30 April 2026, for the proper organization, dissemination and technical support of the congress.

Part of the data processing is carried out by two entities acting as sub-processors, under the data processing agreement referenced above:

2. Purpose of processing
The purpose of the processing is the management of your participation in the World Green Infrastructure Congress 2026 (WGIC26), including registration, technical visits, and the issuance of certificates or receipts. Specifically, the following aspects are considered:
- Customer, accounting, tax and administrative management
- Advertising and commercial prospecting
- Provision of electronic certification services
- Management of associative, cultural, recreational, sporting and social activities
- Education
- Video surveillance
- Occupational risk prevention
- Compliance or non-compliance with monetary obligations
- Provision of electronic communications services
- Security and access control to buildings
3. Retention period
Data will be retained for as long as it retains evidentiary value (Article 55 of Spanish Law 16/1985, of 25 June, on Spanish Historical Heritage).
4. Legal basis
The legal basis contained in the GDPR is the consent of the data subject or their legal representatives (Art. 6.1.a).
5. Recipients
The general rule is that data will not be disclosed to third parties, without prejudice to the provisions of the legal framework.
6. Your rights
You may access, rectify or delete your data, request its portability, object to the processing, request its restriction or, where applicable, withdraw your consent, by sending a formal written request to Universitat de Lleida, addressed to the Secretaria General, or in person at the Registre General de la Universitat de Lleida, Oficina d'Assistència en Matèria de Registre, Pl. de Víctor Siurana 1, 25003 Lleida.
