WGIC26 warmly welcomes submissions of original research, case studies, and innovative applications, in short paper format (maximum 5 pages), in MS Word format. This limitation helps reduce similarity for papers subsequently recommended for special journal issues.
All submitted papers undergo a rigorous peer review process. The scientific committee decides on acceptance and whether the presentation will be oral or poster. Accepted papers will be published in the WGIC2026 proceedings.
The best papers presented at WGIC26 will be fast-tracked for Special Issues in three leading peer-reviewed journals: Urban Forestry and Urban Greening (Elsevier), Nature-Based Solutions (Elsevier), and the Journal of Living Architecture (Green Roofs for Healthy Cities –GRHC).

Paper submission steps

- Read the instructions carefully.
- Select a main topic where your work fits.
- Prepare the paper (maximum 5 pages).
- Submit your paper in .doc format before May 31, 2026.
- You will receive the decision and R1 review before June 15, 2026.
- Submit the revised paper (R1) before July 15, 2026 and R2 before July 31, 2026.
- Submit the final paper before July 31, 2026.
